Born and raised in Harrison, AR, Chad was influenced by the Ozark Mountain landscape and music of the region. Folk, bluegrass and old school country were the predominate genres along with heavy metal that Chad listened to in his early years. Having now lived in Texas for several years, Chad became influenced by the Texas singer songwriters and Texas band scene. Chad began writing his own songs as a form of cathartic therapy and realized a powerful energy in the next step in his life journey. Playing the Texas Hill Country bar circuit up and down Hwy. 281, Chad honed his live music performances and built upon his song writing skills. Chad states that the premise for his songs are always straight forward truth in story telling and not hiding in a song with an old school outlaw country vibe.
